Hate that blaring TV show? Inventor lets you shut it off

It must have been the Bert Weinman Ford commercials. I'vejust spent the last half hour interviewing Mitch Altman about hismisspent youth in Highland Park, and that's the best explanation Ican come up with.

What else could have led this otherwise law-abiding 47-year-oldelectronics whiz to invent his menace to the American lifestyle, theTV-B-Gone, a remote control device built to look like a keychain fobthat can turn off virtually every television -- undetected?
