Chrysler LLC's global sales numbers

Chrysler LLC on Monday said it sold a record number of vehicles outside North America last year when compared with 2006 figures. Chrysler still is primarily a North American company and is looking for global partners to boost sales worldwide.

_ International market sales outside North America grew 15 percent last year to 238,218, up from 206,925 in 2006. Largest markets outside North America were Italy at 21,361 vehicles, Venezuela at 19,459 and the United Kingdom at 18,623.

_ Sales in Canada rose 6 percent, to 232,859, while Mexican sales were up 0.1 percent to 128,541.

_ U.S. sales of just over 2 million last year dropped 3 percent from the 2.14 million sold in 2006.
