MARY E. F. JONES, 80.(CAPITAL REGION)

ALBANY Mary E. Fitzpatrick Jones, 80, of North Albany died Saturday in the Villa Mary Immaculate Nursing Home after a long illness.

She was born in Albany and retired in 1979 from the Matthew Bender Co., after working there for 10 years as a telephone operator. She worked in the same capacity for the former United Traction Co. and was a receptionist at one time for the former Albany Felt Co.

Mrs. Jones was a volunteer at Our Lady of Hope Residence in Latham and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. There she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Heart to Heart Group.
